The waste in the bowl is actually not pushed down the sewer by the releasing tank water but instead the flush water kick starts a siphon. This is primarily achieved with how the trapway is designed. Once some water spills over the trapway, the contents of the bowl are effectively pulled down the sewer. You should of explained the "siphon effect" in greater detail because most don't understand it.
