Hey ladies!

Just a note: you will notice that I didn’t share my exact calorie amount. This is because it is different for every person based on their height, lifestyle, gender, and desired weight goals.

Again, I don’t think calorie counting is the right fit for everyone, but it definitely helped my life and my understanding of my diet! As always, check with your healthcare professional, and take things easy.

I want you to blossom and flourish, and you can’t do that if you’re overly obsessed with weight and diets!

Wishing you all the best and all my love.

Xoxo,

Cait

Finally. Real advice where I don’t have to invest 100$ in a “must have” product or hardcore restrictions and intense painful self discipline.

I never considered myself to be a "traditional" woman before but this is rapidly becoming one of my favorite youtube channels. Thank you for this advice!!

It's crazy that this advice would be seen as alternative. Nowadays, everyone is doing high impact workouts and expensive spin classes, tea detoxes, weight loss pills, juice cleanses, etc. It's just the "health industry" making money off of people. It's all about sustainable methods of moving your body that fit your lifestyle, portion control, and making healthier food choices + not drinking our calories in coffees or alcohol. <3 Also, would love to see a video on your favorite lunch or dinner dishes! :)

My mom always says eat to live not live to eat. Many Americans have stopped listening to innate signs that tell us we are full. My husband and I eat our plate and converse which allows our brain and stomach to communicate. After some time if we were still hungry we get a little more. Usually we would be full. My husband was able to get his over eating under control by doing this.

Indian and Middle Eastern recipes really helped me get back in shape. I'm not vegan/vegetarian, but introducing all those herbs/superfoods/vegetables into my diet benefited me a lot, plus, I learned more styles of cooking. My cousin is half vietnamese, and they eat a lot of brothy foods which is *great* for cutting out calories in the winter and fall time.

A few things I learned 🌸

1. Make comfort food that’s Healthy!! - love skinny taste
2. Eat mindfully - put fork down between my bites and actually taste my food’

Love this video Cait.

A refreshing take on diet. No magic pill, no strict eating routines. Just move more, eat less. I’ve tried all sorts of diets too and I agree, calorie counting for my proportions is easiest to follow.

Your voice is very soothing. I was listening to you one night and went straight to sleep. Your videos are amazing.

The trick with Eastern European women is that they are generally more traditional, and they simply do more things around the house, have more children on average etc. even if they have careers. Trust me, after putting clothes out to dry, and vacuuming the house the last thing you'd think about is pilates. 😂

I never count calories but I lost 16 pounds just reducing the processed food in my diet. I cook from scratch as much as I can, and try to eat real food, not "products". And I have one day on the weekend when I eat whatever I want!

*Losing weight in a healthy way is never about restrictions.*
It's always about a lifestyle change, where you have to almost become an amateur nutritionist and understand what you put into your body.

I really like that you mentioned women of the past! Just watch an episode of little house on the prairie and you’ll see them plowing the field, carrying buckets of water (for house cleaning, laundry, cooking, baths, etc), chopping wood, gathering eggs, feeding the farm animals, and walking or horse riding everywhere (no cars). We really don’t know how easy we have it now days. Really great video!

I became addicted to running and it’s my drug when I’m depressed. Those endorphins are worth getting up at 5am for! However, I totally agree with you, there are many ways to stay fit! Your
method obviously works for you, you’re in great shape! :) Keep it up.

Hello! I’ve been thinking that God is truly working through your content for a while now, but I’m certain of it today. This video pushed me away from making a risky diet choice for myself. I’m a 16 year old former ballerina who has a really toxic relationship with food. Emotional eating, binging, beating myself up on a daily basis.. it’s just horrible. I was, THIS AFTERNOON, going to start the carnivore diet in an effort to fix my awful relationship with taking care of my body. There’s nothing so bad about the carnivore diet if you have the right reasons but I was doing it from a place of so much hate and fear. And then this video popped up in my notifications and well, I’ve watched it twice now and I’m rethinking some things. You’ve put some new ideas in my head about really nourishing my body instead of beating it into submission. Your perspective on true health is very valuable and something a lot of people need to hear. Fixing my relationship with food is not going to be easy and it’s going to take a long long time, but I just want to credit you with encouraging my heart to pursue true health instead of some kind of stringent control. If you could pray for me on this journey? I’ll be praying for you myself. Thank you, you’re doing beautiful work. ♥️

It would be so cute if you had a pocket tee made that just said “feminine” for the girls who like a little more quiet clothing!

I like to walk to my favorite library. It’s an hours walk to and from my house so I get out my house, walk out my frustrations, and be in a place with access to a bunch of fun books to read. I wanna live in a bookstore someday!

Yes to walking and more feminine movement! I used to do so much intense exercise, gained too much muscle for my liking and never lost the weight. Now I just walk, do gentle movement, eat whole foods, tune into my true hunger cues and lost 10lbs easily since.
