Double Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies | 4 Ingredients

Makes 16 cookies

Ingredients:
-1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
-1 box chocolate cake mix
-2 eggs
-1 cup chocolate chips

Steps
1. Mix together oil, mix, and eggs until all combined
2. Add in chocolate chips and continue mixing
3. Place saran wrap on bowl and put into fridge for at least an hour to chill. (This is mandatory or else the cookies won't turn out well)
4. Scoop out 1 tbsp dough and roll into ball. Then place it onto parchment paper or baking sheet
5. Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes

I came across your channel yesterday and since I had all the ingredients for this recipe, I had to make them! I used softened butter instead of oil and added 2 T. unsweetened cocoa powder to the mix. They taste GREAT and are easy!

I recommend using 1/2 of melted butter of room tempt butter (it tasted much better in my opinion)

I made this yesterday after chilling the dough in the refrigerator. I spaced them anticipating they would expand while baking but they spread so much that they stuck together and became one giant cookie, almost like a brownie. Can't figure out what could have happened.

I tried this cake mix cookie recipe with a Devils Food Cake mix from Aldi and they came out almost grayish rather than truly dark and rich chocolatey brown... Any idea what happened and what I could do to get that rich chocolatey brown instead? They look like dollops of poop! LOL! I can't serve that!
