The conversation will help us unpack strategies for transforming systems that created and continue to worsen the climate crisis.

About Our Panel:
- Joe Kobuthi (Kenya): Joe Kobuthi, a is a scholar and advocate. He holds a dual Master’s degrees in Philosophy and Public Policy. With a career marked by intellectual rigor and advocacy, Joe has served as the senior editor of The Elephant, a prestigious Pan-African magazine, for eight years. Throughout this tenure, he has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to amplifying critical African voices on issues of governance. Kobuthi’s extensive body of work encompasses profound explorations into the philosophical underpinnings of public policy and the ethical dimensions of governance.

- Abednego Chanda (Zambia): Abednego Chanda is a member of the Zambia Youth Federation and is also spearheading the ‘Know Your City TV’ program in Zambia under Slum Dwellers International (SDI). He is a social change advocate, a photographer and videographer trained by the Slum Dwellers International ‘Know Your City’ team. Abednego uses his media skills to document challenges, community-led processes, and locally-led solutions in informal settlements in Zambia.
