I have been incorporating this into my glute days, , , , after I saw your 1st variation standing and I love it.. one thing I noticed about me is that if I start bodyweight or light weight I feel it way faster kind of like activating before adding heavier and also really lifting the leg that has the weigh on lifting way up when doing the standing variation. Thank you for alway sharing your knowledge

Second time I try it today, but why was I feeling it in my lower back? Also, is working leg (top leg) supposed to be completely straightened out and should it be touching the cushion at the bottom for support? Thanks Bret I’ve learned so much from you! 🍑☺️

So on my hyperextension machine, there is a gap in the middle of cushions. I tried to do this but bc of that opening it hurts my legs when they are smushing inbetween it. How could i do this & stop that from hurting me? I haven't tried it again after the first time bc it hurts my legs too much but I want to do it so bad on my leg days. Lol

Could I do this by leaning sideways on the bar of my squat rack, positioning it at same hip height as here, and standing on floor with plates behind to prevent feet from slipping?
