Rings vs Weighted Calisthenics: Which Creates Super Strength?

There's only so much regular calisthenics can do for you, eventually you will need to make things more difficult to progress. A lot of people resort to weighted calisthenics, which in my opinion is no longer calisthenics, it's weight lifting. But rings? The awkwardness creates super monkey strength :)

Definitely use both. I’ve been doing nothing but vest + rings during COVID and my strength in the gym has gone through the roof

You'd probably get better results if you worked out less days but for a longer amount of time each day. So I work out 2 days a week but about 2 hours per session where I workout my entire body, and I've seen some very good results with that, without having to dedicate more than a couple days a week.

It seems like you're pretty strong, but seem to have pretty bad endurance when it comes to training volume as you seem to be out of steam after just two sets. So the best thing I can suggest would to increase your overall volume which I think is what might be holding you back.

Rings imo are the best all round strength conditioning tool you can get.
I’ve been using for two years and my strength has increased significantly, natural movement and overall balanced strength to the body(can’t beat it).
Muscle ups are the pinnacle but just remember it’s all technique, enjoy !!! Love my ring days at the park, surprisingly peaceful training session 💯💪🏻

when you're doing one-arm pull-ups keep your arm straight out in front of you like your pointing at something. Makes it much easier than flailing around lol

get you a pair of rings with a set of ressistance bands and you can train every muscle in your body the key is positioning of bands/rings and body to target individual muscles.

The peak of your rep is where you should have the most strength. At the top. You can see when you let go you drop real fast from the top and then catch and slow.
