Science pretty much says pull ups especially weighted ones build your back even better than regular back exercises.

If you don't have rings, try neutral grip as well because it helps your brachialis

Yes agree. Heard the same, rotation is the key 🔑. Focus 1 month or more chin upps, and yeah same with pull upps no mixing 🦾👍💯

believe me if you only do pullups some areas wont be growing as they could, do something in the horizontal plane as well and your lats will explode bro

If you add weight, its not calisthenics, its equipment workout. You know, the one you use machines

Super solid advice. But you're definitely wrong on over use at 2 types of pull ups. I work in construction and do full on muscle ups all day to avoid using a ladder. Then I work out after work. I absolutely had joint problems for years. Fish oil and an hour of stretching before bed cured all issues. Haven't even touched a joint supplement and I have bad circulation so improving that would be another specific fix for me. Our bodies are made to go from sun up to sun down in their optimal state. Or figure what Goggins does because he can do pull ups all day every day lol

If you train weighted chin-ups your weighted pullup will automatically increase and it shouldn’t be too far behind your weighted chin up maybe 5-10kg

You right my G every time I do pulls n chins I feel it but most the time I have two pull days a week so chins then pulls later in the week

So you focus on weighted pull ups for some months to a year then weighted chin ups? Do you do any accessories to isolate the muscles like biceps and forearms?

Very true my back was the strongest and best looking when I was doing weighted pull ups now I'm doing weighted dips I've never had stronger chest before even when I was doing so much with just weights for the chest. I'm talking from my experience maybe for others only weights are better but I can say that this guy is right about it trust me people.
