What causes tooth pain under a bridge? - Dr. Arundati Krishnaraj

There are a number of reasons that can cause pain of the tooth under the bridge. The common ones are; if the bridge is fixed without root canal treatment it would be putting pressure on the tooth causing pain. If the bite on the tooth is high or improper the pressure of biting can cause pain. Excessive grinding of the teeth during sleep can traumatise the tooth and cause pain. Previous filling under the bridge may have leakage resulting the bacteria infecting the nerve and causing pain. Ill fitting denture can cause leakage and tooth sensitivity under a bridge. So it is important to identify the cause of the pain under the bridge soon. Make an urgent appointment to visit your dentist soon.

Do you prefer having dental bridge with RCT ?, My dentist has done RCT on my two good teeths for dental bridge, he says it wil protect from future infection. I am worried about those two teeths now, as some says Intentional RCT is not good for teeths

But after spending sooo much money n time...v shouldnt b affected with such problems...iam also facing sooo much pain after putting crown and after root canaling...with in 2 months I have to go to doctor for prescription..
