I disagree with the sheriff saying leaving the car running played no part in this. it seems very easy to have prevented this incident that ended 3 lives.

I don't care how you slice it leaving a car running does in fact plays a factor into what happened, this sheriff can jump up and down even lie down and kick his feet and bang his hands up and down like a child and scream at the top of his lungs, IT PLAYS A FACTOR!!! period, how many times does law enforcement tell the public not too leave your car keys in the car or even leave your car running just to run into a store and especially with kids in the car. And just looking at this meth head picture should have gave the sheriff his first clue.
