He was driving drunk, but somehow sobered up enough to realize what he did and try to run like a coward. This breaks my heart for everyone who's lost someone this way. I always pray my family and I will be safe on the roads because of people like this man who don't care whom they hurt.

The anger in the man's voice and making sure the drunk driver knew what he did. "You see what you did!?" The pain and anger was so strong im sure it immediately sobered him up.

Cop lost his life and dude badly injured the cop's wife and children.. wife found out 4 months later that her husband was dead..she was in a coma. Both of his parents died of a broken heart not long after..

R.I.P officer Alex Cervantes. He was a regular customer at the carwash I worked at. Euless PD had an account with us. So he was at the wash every other day. Real quiet guy. Prayers to he’s family.

Let that sink in folks. Not that anyone here would drive under the influence, I would hope. But imagine waking up as always, living your life, doing everything right, all for it to end in a half-second because someone thought "Nah I don't need a cab I can drive!"

My heart breaks watching this. Drug and alcohol addiction are running rampant right now. So many people need help and there aren't enough services for these people. I lost a lifelong friend a couple weeks ago... She died on the sidewalk... On a public sidewalk! Overdosed from drugs at the break of dawn. So sad

And that's how quickly you can destroy your life and take someone else's. Lives forever altered in the worst possible way in the span of probably 5 seconds. This is a tragedy.
