4:14 Absolutely heart wrenching scene. Harvey’s “No” and Batman’s split second hesitation, realizing they’d been tricked and that Rachel was going to die.

Aaron's acting as Harvey Dent was fantastic and emotionally driven. It's underated.

Joker: "do I really look like a guy with a plan?"
Also Joker: all of this

Heath's acting is the reason people watch it again and again.

The moment Batman rushes in, he stops for just a sec. cause he realized that he had to save the wrong person.

The way Rachel just accepts it, the slight happiness in her voice knowing that at least harvey will live despite knowing she was done for. Superb acting.

0:42 This guys acting was underrated, and I feel like he kept some of the tension going.

4:14. The heroic music cuts out completely, then the jokers theme slowly emerges- paired with Dent screaming… it gives me the chills. Without the movie actually stating anything, it conveys that the Joker had won. What a masterful scene.

Thr fact that Joker intentionally gave batman the exact opposite info about where Harvey and Rachel were is both genius and terrefying

“Would you like to know which of them were cowards?”
What a chilling line
Heath Ledger’s acting in this is incredible

I like how the joker is just babbling “I want my phone call” like a little toddler. It’s weirdly funny

0:38 I love that mouthed "six!?" like even Joker's surprised by how good he is.

Rachel's final moments show that she is selfless. The second she realizes that she is gonna die is so heartbreaking.

4:15 Hearing Harvey crying out to Rachel and furious at Batman for saving him instead of her is heartbreaking, even my heart suddenly stopped when the explosion began. It really isn't easy to let someone you love go...

Fun fact: Heath ledger was originally going to get professional makeup, but he chose to do it himself because it would look more realistic

"In their last moments, people show you who they really are. So in a way I knew your friends better than you ever did. Would you like to know which of them were cowards?"

Joker was such a boss. Cracked his neck right before going into boss mode.

*Hearing Aaron Ekhart screaming "no" as batman rescues him is absolutely chilling.*

Fun fact: Christopher Nolan loves using practical effects so much that he actually lit Aaron eckhart on fire
