My senior year of high school I got my first boyfriend and he introduced me to joker and Harley Quinn and I grew to really love Harley and he’d say that we were Harley and the joker and I was so in love with him everything was great then after graduation he’d start manipulating me and abusing me in any way but I was still so so in love and was completely blind, he wanted to be exactly like the joker he even practiced his laugh every day like a religious thing. Eventually we got engaged and before my 20th birthday my family broke us up because they heard that he maybe had a plan to kidnap me and keep me until I was pregnant. I’m 24 now and I’m getting better and I still really love Harley and I support her leaving joker.

Edit:Some people are saying “well I’ve dressed as (insert villain) and I don’t k!ll people” well no duh, I’m not saying couples who dress like Harley and joker go do stuff like Harley and joker lmao, I’m just saying that it’s funny when you see couples on social media acting as if Joker/Harley are couple goals because suicide squad kinda romanticized them, in the comics, joker manipulated Harley into falling for him and turning her just to use her as a punching bad/henchman/get away plan, he knows Harley is so mentally broken, even if he does all these horrible things to her, if he says he loves her and treats her somewhat decent, he’ll be able to keep her around, I swear, some people in these comments took my comment too literal💀
