Can we just appreciate Jason, being brand new to the band, his first tour with them, keeping up with a pissed off James and Lars

James was so affected by Cliff's death, this shows how angry he was

The fact that James was so pissed at Lars that he played it at 3x speed and Lars stayed on beat, it shocked James

Metallica were brutal in the 80s. And Lars is really killing it in the drums.

everybody shits on kirks playing but never appreciates the fact that he had to keep up with james who was playing purely off anger back in these days.

James used to be an 800 pound gorilla on stage. Dude blew the fuckin roof off of every venue they played back the. I saw them in 92 and they were still absolute monsters then.

What fucking right hand exercises did he do? I'll never cease to be amazed.

Fun fact James played this 3x as fast to mess up Lars due to arguing with him but Lars kept up the whole time

I just dont think enough people understand what a fucking legend hetfield is. Like try to make your picking hand keep up with this pace, and then realize he's doing 70% down picking. We aren't worthy

You can actually visibly tell Lars was a whole lot better having that large drumset... Sometimes i feel that Lars really have become too efficient he has reduced the amount of drums needed and simplified every beat. I miss the times when he made drumfills just for the heck of it, man i miss when he drived the force
