Happy New Year! We're happy to start 2024 off with this Metallica classic. As usual, our man Jason Sheppard kills it on guitar. And with a well toned physique.

Just wanted to chime in and say how relieved I am that this is so well received. I’m always a bit nervous about doing Metallica songs because their fans demand accuracy with tabs and they are absolutely justified in thinking that way. Metallica is up there with Sabbath in terms of influencial bands. They are absolute monsters. This was so much fun to play. The heavy stuff always is and this was always one of my favorite Metallica tunes. If it wasn’t for the power I get from my armpit hair I don’t think I could have ever downpicked that fast. My friend Cody owns this original 84 explorer… what a guitar. I had a hard time giving it back. The leads were done on my trusty Charvel (which basically plays itself). I can’t wait to do more Metallica songs. So many more killer tracks to pick from!

I always get to learn my favourite songs with his tabs, and they’re always guaranteed accurate. Great job! By the way, is there any chance you could do The Call Of Ktulu by Metallica on Ride The Lightning? It’s a great song, and I want to learn it with really accurate tabs.

One of my best friends in high school (rest in peace) could play exactly perfect metallica with a right-handed guitar upside-down as he was left-handed. An absolute genius amazing teenager lost to suicide greatly missed. ....to all who are learning, practising, and writing your own stuff, never give up. You don't have to be a genius guitarist. Mostly enjoy and love what you do, feel it from your soul, dont let it stress you out, keep trying, remember to breathe. This is the album that taught me how to play guitar!! I learned lighting from beginning to end, it was an awesome time!!! I loved the simplicity yet amazing structure to all the songs. Great album and excellent work as always Mr. Tabs!!!
