James Hetfield was born to a devout Christian family. James did not fancy the religion, thus, his rebellion against his family and their religion marked the backbone of this beautiful music that we've come to know and love Metallica for.
James Hetfield appears to have changed his mind about religion, as he has been seen praying right before a show. It would be really interesting to know what happened in James life, that made him do a holier than thou u turn.

I always get the most extreme chills with that part, that song was written from the most pure desire of aggresion yet if you think it well its one of the few songs of this type that does not invoke the powers of hell, demons etc but the wrath of god in the form of the creeping deadth like the angelic fire of ghost rider

An amazing amazing song that touches one of most important events in the Bible. Metallica were destined and blessed to reach their heights. If you noticed, on almost every album they have had a song that touches Bible or sends out a powerful message of positivity.
