Great advice for all, not just us old geezers. :) Key for me at 53 is proper nutrition and the mind / muscle connection. Proper nutrition wasn't as important in my 20s and 30s. It is now. And I wish I understood years ago what mind / muscle connection really meant. I only learned that about a year ago and it's had a tremendous impact on my results. But like you said, it's never too late no matter what your age!

I'm 38 but I think its sensible for me to start training and understanding that I need to train as if 40+. Great video Gary as the mental aspect of trying to stay hard training is where for many it all falls down. Your videos are keeping me motivated. I love hitting the weights 4-6 days (work can get in the way) a week but its the staying focused so that the sessions are good progressive work outs and not just going through the motions.

thanks Gary, I'm 43 in 2days & this is my fourth week of making the change to become healthy & fit after many years of eating & drinking wrong? & I now have the belief that if you can do it?then so can I? it was my daughter that inspired me to make the change in December when I picked her up from a boxfit lesson& decided then&there that I will do the same...thank you brother for all your info & tips as they appeal & resonate with me...stay positive & god bless...

Nice tips Gary I'm 52 I'm back and forth like the one fellow said years of not eating right, drinking beers smoking etc. My problem is where to start I'm not fat or skinny I just wanna feel good again wanna get some abs cut up some you know really don't have time for a personal trainer just need some advice on how to workout and eat right and Stick with it 😁
