Grievous vs Obi-Wan Kenobi Rematch [4K HDR] - Star Wars: The Clone Wars

After previously dueling on the Malevolence, Kenobi and Grievous duel for the second time in the show, as seen here in the 4K HDR Clone Wars film cut, "The Deserter" Arc. The duel has been cut down for this youtube sample to only show you the fight itself, but the original episode content remains intact in the full edit.

A full 4K HDR (and 1080p) upscale of the entire series, also taking all but 9 episodes and re-cutting them seamlessly into feature films for every single arc. Have a favorite arc? Order 66? The Rako Hardeen Deception Arc? Mortis? The Nightsisters? Yoda's Journey? Maul's Revenge? This project converts the entire TV show into the definitive theatrical experience, perfect for your nice 4K HDR theater setup.

I have also reordered the episodes to fit a (mostly) chronological order based on the entire series official order list. This fixes many, many continuity problems for those who get confused when they watch it in viewing order. There are some minor alterations to the official episode order to make these arcs work as films, but any changes to the official chronological order are small (Putting Maul's Season 4 and 5 arcs into a single epic 3 hour cut, moving the lone episode "A Friend in Need" up a bit in the timeline to fit with the Heroes on Both Sides arc. Making Cad Bane's seasons 1-3 arc into a single supercut). The rest of the alterations follow the official continuity order (2 season 1 and 2 episodes are now part of the extended Clone Wars Theatrical Film Cut due to them being part of the Battle of Christophsis, ect. ect.) and greatly enhance the show's viewing experience.

Use the following Google Doc to see the cuts for yourself, then follow the instructions there.

"An army with no loyalty, no spirit, just programming.." I love it when the writers know that the viewers know something the characters don't.

"What have you to show for all your power? What have you to gain!?" -obi wan
"The Future. A future where there are no Jedi!!!"- General Grievous
These are the best lines

"I want a future with no Jedi."

Sidious: That can be arranged.

The sound of grievous spinning his sabres is soooo satisfying

He lacks form but grievous is a fucking powerhouse. I wish we'd seen the same prowess he'd shown in the 2003 clone wars

One of my favorite fight scenes in the clone wars.

If there’s a “Tales of the Jedi season 2” I’d really like a story on Grevious origin. How he became what he is. Why he hates the Jedi. Etc. I know there’s already an origin story with hun but I think it’d be cool to actually see.

This fight was a lot closer than the one in the movies, it really shows why Griveous was so feared.

Obi Wan trying to argue that the clones chose to fight because of loyalty or a sense of patriotism, when the clones were pretty much bred to fight, without any real choice.

If anything, the separatists chose to use droids, because they believed it was a better choice than having to use actual living things to fight in their war. What’s even better is the fact that regardless who wins, the droids could just shut down and sleep, until they’re needed again. The clones, on the other hand, grew old and lived their remaining lives as impoverished beggars and urchins.

I actually love this fight because I love the philosophical duologue between Kenobi and Grievous

0:22 Anyone else love or notice this callback to Obi-Wan's classic "From a certain point of view" line from Return of the Jedi?
