I pretty much agree with you, although I feel it could be justified with the idea that Obi-wan can use the force to balance out the fact that he's going against a 4 armed cyborg, doesn't feel like a stretch imo since the force is a pretty strong ability by itself, but obviously they don't really depict the fight in that manner anyway so it feels off regardless (been a while since I've seen the full fight so might be forgetting something that would go against what I just said)

Ahh let's not forget that obi wan is a Jedi Master with 3 decades of training and he is described as being the best defensive fighter of all time so obviously he can hold his own against a guy with 4 lightsabers

I see your point about Grievous however the fact he is cyborg with lightsaber works as foreshadowing for what Anakin would become: Something more machine than man. I think Grievous could had work better in the prequels, specially in RotS, if, instead of Obi Wan, he had fought Anakin (maybe in Mustafar, before his duel with Obi Wan), not only showing how powerful Anakin has become with Dark side but giving his victory a irony: He's proud he defeated Grievous, one the strongest villains at that point, only to end up becoming like him.

I hate that they gave Grievous a nerf OFF screen and in the clone wars animated series.
he should have been full power in the big movies 👏
instead he was just weak and useless.

his design is still amazing and iconic but his character just doesn't have an iconic role IN the movies where it matters.
such a weird way they botched him.

I think this fight is just boring and doesn't use Grievous' four arms to it's full advantage. I do love Grievous' for his design tho, he's fights scenes in canon are just not the best imo. It also doesn't help that he barley did shit in this movie.

I do think it’s the worst fight of all the movies. Obi wan should obviously be dead, but I guess the force. The violence and action has nothing to do with the characters and their arcs, grevious is not even a character. CGI is just too much, fight lasts way too long devouring everything of tension.
