She's absolutely beautiful. Words can't describe how good she did in this movie. Awards don't do her justice, she deserves so much more. Absolutely amazing

I always felt like this movie should be a reminder that bringing someone into this life is a choice. Everything is and with those choices comes consequences, we will often bury ourselves in the things that take our time so much so we end up looking back and realizing we did nothing gratifying and can often lead to regret.

"I'm going to raise her exactly like your daddy raised you. I'm going to give her the best of what's in me."

That line is so amazingly clever and tragic for what it means about how the father raised the son, but hopeful and beautiful in terms of what it means for the mother and baby.

She’s truly beautiful…. Her presence on screen with Denzel is the best I’ve ever scene with so few scenes. Unreal

When I was 14 I tried to take my old man and I woke up looking at blue skies and his face checking on me. I told my son who is 14 the story. I also told him that the day I knew I could take my dad I was wise enough to respect him and knew I didn’t have to.

I wish she was my mom. Lost my mom at a young age, but man, shes amazing!

I think I get what she meant at the beginning. About not making Troy leave room for her. She didn’t force Troy to be totally dedicated to her as his wife. So Troy was able to bring himself to cheat.

If this wasn't my story I don't know what is. Literally had an abusive crazy mom, the Marines couldn't have got me to sign that context quick enough.

she is such a great actress. This scene alone makes up for Suicide Squad, haha.
