FILM DESCRIPTION:
Troy Maxson (Denzel Washington) makes his living as a sanitation worker in 1950s Pittsburgh. Maxson once dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player, but was deemed too old when the major leagues began admitting black athletes. Bitter over his missed opportunity, Troy creates further tension in his family when he squashes his son's (Jovan Adepo) chance to meet a college football recruiter.

The contrast between how Gabe sees her and how Troy sees her...wow. I wish she could have seen that and realized she deserved more. Gabe coming in with the flower was critical in showing what she deserved and maybe even what she wanted, but wasn’t getting. She barely acknowledged it in that moment, because maybe it was so foreign to her she couldn’t see it in that moment.

This probably will be my favorite movie of all time. The acting talent is brilliant, the message is brilliant, the actors are brilliant, i think I very seen this movie about 5 times. I ll probably see it 5 more times, i ll probably buy it, this movie is just that brilliant.
