MicroNugget: How to Calibrate Simple Windows 8 Video

Показать описание
In this video, Anthony Sequeira covers the Windows video calibration tool. This built-in tool is powerful, but often overlooked. Watch and see where to find it and how to set it up, then quickly and easily configure how your Windows 8.1 environment displays on your monitor.
First head to your Control Panel, find the Display tab, and check the sidebar for Calibrate Color. From here, you'll be able to calibrate much more than just the color.
There are a lot of settings that go into making sure your image looks great, but few people have a perfect grasp of all of them.
Fortunately, the wizard walks you through, step-by-step, a series of explanations and instructions. Follow them to configure the gamma, brightness, contrast, and color balance.
Then, you can compare the previous calibration with the current one.
Last, ClearType is a setting that makes sure your text is easy to read, which you configure with prompts that feel a bit like Captcha images so your text is clear and easy to read.
