I think after watching this I’m switching back to my CSR. I recently ran into a situation last week where the resort I was staying at in Mexico no longer accepted American Express (like that occurred days before we arrived). Fortunately I had my USAA visa as a backup but it’s really annoying to have to hope and pray your card gets accepted while overseas. The CSR is way more practical and rewarding for my spending habits and I don’t have to worry about it not being accepted.

Both the Amex Platinum and venture X have credits that basically makes the card free if you use correctly. Chase is the only one that doesn’t give card holders the opportunity to do that
