ABC's of Salvation....

Admit you are a sinner in need of a savior.

Believe in the finished redemtive work of Jesus Christ on the cross alone for the remission of all your sins (past, present and future) and eternal life!

Call on the name of the Lord. ("All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13)

"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me." (John 14:6)

"When you declare with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart man believes and is justified and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." ( Romans 10:9-10)

"For it is by grace you are saved through faith. It is not your own doing. It is the FREE gift of God. Not by works lest any man boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Amen dear pastor Tim ! Indeed we are saved by grace through faith. When we believed there is the beautiful regeneration of our spirit by God's spirit, and we are baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ. It's a spiritual baptism :) Amen, and the baptism is in obedience to God, and an outward representation of what has already happened inside us :) God bless you dear pastor Tim and keep up the great work! See you all up in heaven real soon Wackadoodle family! :)

I remember my baptism, and I might have been young but I really wanted to show my testimony of what Jesus Christ had done for me. Blessings to you and your family ✝️🌷

Any Christian who can get baptized should be baptized in Jesus name. It is obvious from Scripture that God would have it that way. There is no need to create a debate over it.

I was water baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. My life was buried with and I rose again into a life with my Lord and Savior. After that I felt the Holy Spirit come into my life and has been guiding me ever since. This does not save me and give me a clear ticket to heaven. Only by me accepting Jesus's Christ into my heart and believing that he is the Son of God who died and rose again gives me a ticket to heaven. I was baptized because Jesus Christ was baptized and it's my obedience to him that led me to be baptized when at the age of 14. I'm so happy I did that.

Y’all only just believe but I also believe like y’all and am born again of the water and spirit. So if you only have to believe we’re all good but if you have to be born again of the water and spirit also then somebody’s in trouble. I’m safe either way 😎

I believe what Jesus did on the cross is enough....Baptism is something ALL believers should have, but not to save them....Pastors should teach his church about baptism....There are three Baptism of fire (Conviction) 2. Baptism of the Holy Spirit 3. Baptism of water (a profession of faith) As far as "in Jesus name"....Even if not a word is spoken, the baptism will still be your baptism....Words do not baptize my interpretation....God bless....

Pastor, in John directly after Jesus said this. John 3/22:23 and John was also baptizing in the Aenon near Salim, because there was much WATER there; and they can and were baptized.

If water baptism wasn’t necessary then why does it continue to say that Jesus and John were baptizing in water?

When somoone give a you a gift, do they need to ask you something as an exchange?.

Correct pastor Tim. It is NOT necessary for salvation. Every action before the finished, redemptive work on the cross at Calvary was a type and shadow. Just as the physical circumcision became circumcision of the heart...baptism became "into" the name of Jesus. (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Which is why the Word emphasizes that both blood AND water flowed from Jesus. He is all sufficient.

Pastor even John the Baptist himself said “ I Baptize you with water, but He who comes baptizes you with the Holy Ghost. In 3 gospels of Matthew, Mark & Luke.

“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV
“I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I have a question Pastor Tim. Are you allowed to defend yourself against someone that is trying to rob you? Jesus said if you are hit on the right cheek turn to hin the other. If he takes your coat give him your cloke also. I have heard arguments on all sides but what do you think? Thanks.

Galatians 3:(NKJV) 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. …/ KJ Bible :I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: HE SHALL BAPTIZE( INMERGE-FILL) YOU WITH THE HOLY GHOST, AND WITH FIRE …. /(NKJV) John 15 :3 YOU ARE ALREADY CLEAN because OF THE WORD which I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU . /John 6: (NKJV)63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The WORDS that I speak to you are SPIRIT, and THEY ARE LIFE.

Salvation through water baptism is EVERYWHERE in scripture.

Off the top of my head...

1. Noah and the flood. Noah's family was saved through water.

1 Peter 3:20, 21 Which sometimes were disobedient, when one the long-suffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Hmm. Pretty clear here. Moving on...

2. Baby Moses was saved through water in a woven basket.

3. The Israelites escaping Egypt were baptized through water in the sea and in the cloud. That's two more...

4. John's baptism with water was unto repentance. Still under the old covenant...but then a perfect lamb would come to wash away our sins through water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.
When they pierced Jesus, water and blood came out...the New Testament was poured out.

The apostles knew the doctrine of Christ 100%. They did exactly what Jesus commanded them.
Jesus commanded them to baptize in the name of the father, son, and holy Ghost, and the apostles knew EXACTLY who that was... The Lord Jesus.

Baptism is a doctrine. You have to do it for salvation. Without debate. End of story. - Hebrews 6:2

1 John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

The water, blood and Spirit were designed to participate in a mission. They don't contradict one another, these elements work TOGETHER. We need both water and Spirit.
How did you get the blood without water?

Anyone can believe. Even the demons believe, but they are not saved. Believing is different then following...and we are called to be followers of Christ.

In John 3 (the WHOLE chapter), it is very clear that when a person chooses to believe in Jesus, they aren’t just believing that He was/is the Christ....but it shows that they must also believe that EVERYTHING He taught and modeled must also be a part of that belief.

So lets say a drug dealer, murderer, satanist....watches any of Tim’s videos and then confesses that, “Yep, I believe Jesus is God and that He died on that cross....and, I guess I’m now saved!!” They then put their phone down and proclaim to the other dealers in the room. “Hey guys, I’m saved. All you have to do is confess that Jesus is Lord and you’re saved!!” All the other guys in the room laugh, and they all confess the same thing. Then, they all pack their guns into their bags and head out the door to deliver some drugs, selling some to kids on the street on their way. They get to the king pins house, deliver the drugs, and a gun fight insues. They all die.

Are you telling me, with a straight face and a clear conscience that those guys will be in heaven...that they are indeed saved?

Confessing that you believe in Jesus means you SHALT be saved. Shalt is the keyword here.

If my banker calls me up and says, “If you deposit your money in this account, you SHALT earn 5%.”....and I then confess that out loud to be true, have I immediately warned 5%? No - why? Because, I can’t earn that 5% until I actually make the deposit. I have to do something more than just confess it to be true.

The same is with faith. Faith without works is dead. I can believe...but if I don’t repent and change my life (which INCLUDES baptism)...then I won’t be saved.

James 2:20-26
“But wilt thou understand, O thou vain man, that the faith which is without works, is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified through works, when he offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou not that the faith wrought with his works? and through the works was the faith made perfect. And the Scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the friend of God. Ye see then how that of works a man is justified, and not of faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified through works, when she had received the messengers, and sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, even so the faith without works is dead.”

Mans doctrines and philosophies (Calvinism) will end you up in hell. Go back to the Bible - not just a verse here and there, but the whole Bible. Scripture must interpret scripture. Hermeneutics 101.

Doesn’t Hebrews 10:26 show that you can lose your salvation?

This is not true! You must be baptized in Jesus name and be baptized by spirit.
