Arms followed by shoulders followed by hips is the right backswing sequence

In this golf tips video we will review the correct sequence for your golf swing. Specifically, your swing should begin through your arms moving back, followed by your shoulders coiling on top of your hips and then your hips rotating back. This sequence should proceed gradually and in a synchronized fashion.

On the downswing, the sequence should be reversed. Indeed, the hips bump to the left to start the downswing, followed by the shoulders and finally by the arms bringing the club towards impact with the ball. Done correctly, your swing should feel as one unit, powerful and effortless.

How do hips move into left side though. Am I bumping, sliding, pushing off back leg what’s the feel or body motion to get hips into left side.

Arms first doesn't work for me, I have to engage the bigger musles to collect the arms. If I would start with arms first my big muscles can easily block it.
