For those who really like hummus, but think it's too expensive, or just want to save money, try making your own from dry garbanzo beans. I make a batch from three pounds of dry beans, which makes just over a gallon of hummus. Costs me about eight bucks at the most. I like it for breakfast spread thickly over toasted flat bread.

I've never personally tried hummus before, and I wasn't really sure exactly what it looked like until I saw this video. I know my mom really likes it so I think I'll try it and incorporate it into my diet if I like it. I love Taboule Salad from this same company.

at 4:21 when they're panning up the shelves of hummus you can see a product on the left with a white label that says "simply enjoy". If you live in the North east or have Stop and Shop supermarkets, you'll know that Simply Enjoy is S&S's store brand. SO there's officially no reason NOT to buy the more expensive ceder's Brand. I'm sure The company is damn glad that slipped out!

Eastern Turkey Syria Palestine Israel Lebanon and Jordan all are Hummus breakfast addicts me included so I guess the Fertile Crescent is the ancestor of Hummus.
I must say the best I had was in Lebanon.
