I switched from the IP12 to the Pixel 9 and it's been fantastic so far, the vanilla P9 being 120hz is smooth and is a big upgrade in itself. Much quicker opening apps, very noticeable with web surfing, bigger battery, Gemini is solid but has lots of room for improvement.

The better device, in my opinion, is the one you can get a good deal for.
The video quality being better on the iphone can only be seen when you nitpick. It's not that obvious. You can shoot video for any kind of content with the pixel, and you'll be satisfied with the results.

Problem with Google is reliability. They kill their own products and promises constantly. Glad to see their hardware upgrade. Not just the outer stuff, but internally like the memory, the modem, fingerprint reader.

What I hope to see them change is the tensor chip or at least find away to get away from Samsung exynos. And upgrade the storage speed from ufs 3.1 to 4.0, and it would be considered a flagship killer
