The Untold Truth Of The High Table In John Wick

As the John Wick series has gone on, we have learned more about the criminal underworld that the title character is a part of. There is quite a hierarchy to all of the villainy in the series, and everyone has to submit to the High Table, an organization where the leaders of the 12 most powerful crime syndicates make decisions for everyone else. Of course, this leads to plenty of issues, especially if criminals don’t feel like submitting to the authority of other criminals. Let’s take a look at the untold truth of the High Table in the John Wick films.

Great casting for the Adjudicator, I’ve never wanted a character to be killed so much. The smugness she walks around with...

The Elder sent John on a path to change the table. He knew he would never kill Winston, thats why he asked him to do it. Knowing John will rebel and fight the system and powers that be.

I couldn't even imagine how high The High Table were when they decided to kill John Wick.

No betrayal from Winston. He gives Wick a head nod to move over to the ledge just before shooting him. It's quick, but look carefully. Also, if he wanted to kill Wick he wouldn't have shot him in the body of the suit which he knew was bulletproof. Thanos said it best.... Should've went for the head

I don't think Winston betrayed Wick, if he had.. he would have issued a headshot. He knew John could survive anything else. He shot him where his Kevlar suit would take most of the impact.

But winston shot wick purposely on the torso because Wick was wearing bullet proof suit. So by him falling, it made it seem as if he was dead. It was Winston's way of saving Wick and keeping the hotel all at the same time.

I like how these assassins treat each other as friends or co-workers even though there's a chance they might need to kill each other because of their job, but one thing that they must always remember is that death is nothing personal. There are 2 kinds of assassins under the high table, those who kill because it's their job and those who kill because they want to earn their freedom so they can stop killing.

That wasn’t really any untold truth.
You just summarised the movie

What I don't get is that everyone knows Wick as a deadly instrument, but don't somehow piece together that it's not (at least I don't think it is) in his nature to seek out the killing of Gianna unless someone points him in her direction. He even tells Cassian that it was her brother who sent him and he still goes after Wick. Sure, Cassian and Gianna seemed to have a relationship of some sort, but it's still unreasonable to skip over the fact that Wick isn't a decision maker and wouldn't kill a member of the High Table without provocation.

Winston and bowry king joined hands.
That's why he shot wick, now he's dead, the Bounty's off now.
Everyone is pretty much fed up with the high table, and they are choosing wick to finish it, once and for all.

Would be interesting if the High Table is actually occupied by the Knights Templars who survived the massacre. The organization was already wealthy, well trained in combat/military matters, had ties to the Church, and had connections around most of the Middle East and Europe. The spread of Christianity to Africa and Asia would only allow them to expand, and tbe rest of the world therein. Additionally, they founded the banking foundations still used today, so it wouldn't be far fetched for them to be able to start a Continental-likr infrastructure as a means of safe harbor and currency transference.

Why Winston shot him in the chest when he already knew that John just been wearing a bullet proof vest. I mean in their business at least this is very common. And in the end Winston said his assistant to reweapon as soon as possible. I think Winston, the Bowery king and John work together against the high table.
