Not sure now with higher costs but I used to say it costs around $5000 to change companies by the time you get used to their systems of running. Likely more now as I generally stick with a company for a minimum of 6 years. Been with Quality Transportation now for almost 13 years. Been an owner operator since 1995

I’m with Crete carriers just started I thought the company was great but they are skimpy on tires had 2 drive tires Changed they were 4.32 of an inch I was sliding in the rain when braking

I can see the hourly rate working in drivers favor especially on the slow days. Long detention days. Or creeping along in crappy weather. I’ve had bad days in my young career where I went 30 miles.

Good video but horrible ways of pay. I make $1.05 per mile and hoping to get by $1.5 per mile in the next few months
