Good stuff. Can you show us some ideas about temporary electrical system and fridge that I can install in my four-wheel-drive which I can take it out whenever I want. Because I have a land cruiser Prado and all the gear going at the back on top of the two folding seats at the back I want to have a system which I can take it out and use the two backseats whenever required please help me out with this. I agree. Making camp setup as easy as possible is the key to enjoying it and doing it more often. Nothing is more frustrating than having to set up a tent then the fly then the pegs while its pissing down with rain. Then having to rummage through the 4wd trying to find things. Its not about luxuary its about being efficient in the setup and pack down times.

Thanks for standing up in defense of the comfy camp experience. I get a bit weary of being told that what I enjoy "isn't real camping" just because I have a little wash-stand + other comforts* in my tent, by guys who apparently go out into the wilderness with nothing but a flint, a knife & a loincloth. Personally, I'm of the opinion that so long as you're sleeping under fabric, you're camping, no matter what else you incorporate.
