⚛️ Transferring OneDrive files
Having multiple Microsoft accounts, each with its own OneDrive, can be confusing, especially if you’re trying to copy files between them. The key is to identify which email corresponds to each account and keep track of which one you’re working with at any point in time. You can use both, copy between them freely, or anything in between.

I think my issue is addressed, I want to move certain files from one drive business to my personal one drive. (I accidentally saved them to business OneDrive instead of my personal OneDrive. But when I delete those files on the business account, I am afraid that somehow, the newly moved files to my personal OneDrive will get deleted. (like you showed early in your example). Am I missing something? Are my fears unfounded?

Very good to know the alt method - I was going to use the download/upload method. But, what happens to the share permissions - are they transferred or must they be recreated?

I just share the old onedrive folders into new account, takes a few more steps, but not hard. It will appears as a folder on my new PC/Onedrive account. It doesn't download the content by default, I download whatever I need.

Great tip. But, if the second OneDrive account (for whatever reason) has hundreds of GB of data, downloading all of that is going to be a painful and time-consuming experience. (Ask me how I know! 😮) Question: can I run two OneDrive accounts simultaneously on my OneDrive client? I know I can do this at work, but that's because my work laptop has OneDrive and OneDrive for Business...two entirely separate clients. I'm asking about running two accounts on the same client, same machine. It seems as though that should be possible, but I could never make it work.

I'm sorry but no. it's not that simple. I'm trying to move 60gb of data, and you want me to download it first, and then upload it. this is not a simple solution. also this method KEEPS the files in the computer which 60gb is alot.
