Eggcellent presentation! I’m with you re the LMHR issues first noticed in 2019. Traditional medicine went strait for a statin and then I found Dave Feldman and you. I am constantly tweaking my lifestyle and am no longer surprised by the movement in my numbers. Having you to explain it all and work with what I believe caused the changes and allow me to “copilot “ my healthcare now is immensely beneficial. I think if I ate the eggs like you I would have likely had much bigger increases. The great news is that you help give us the tools and guidance, Yoda, to understand what we can and cannot get away with any longer. Thanks!

I'm 78 and I have been eating 6 eggs (plus a small can of sardines) 3 times a week right after lifting weights/resistance training for so many years already...then 4 eggs/day on non-resistance training days or 4 times a week. I don't go for a lab test nor see a doctor, also for so many years. I just go for what I feel and so far, I feel great at my age. I know people who are much younger than me who avoid eggs and rely solely on lab test/doctors but some of them are now on a wheel chair. I live in a high rise condo, 6th floor to be exact, and I seldom use the elevator (only when carrying groceries)...instead, I use the stairs.

Excellent video Dr.

I am 61, checked my A1C last Nov after feeling extremely tired and I was 6.4, and decided to fight diabetes with diet and exercise. I learned about Keto, and I started on Keto, and stayed on it for about 9 months, then learned about Carnivore and have been on it ever since. I am 1.72m and I was 198lb. I am now 170lb. Intermittent fasting. I am very discipline.

However, my fasting glucose is still around 120. This week I struggled to walk after feeling great for almost a year, had a little pain in my left shoulder, some chest weight, and lack of air. So today I did a follow up blood test today (11 months later) to see what my numbers are.
After discovering you through your Brachial Index video, my index seem to be within normal: Left : 1.07
Right: 1.13

Hope my carnivore diet has not damaged me, I can easily go back to Keto, my I was scared and disappointed.

The good thing about eating eggs is that eggs give you a lot of CHOLINE. From choline comes acetylcholine which is important In nerve conduction. In other words, choline improves the brain and nervous system which makes you feel good. The high level of nerve conduction from flooding your body with choline improves muscle growth because muscle cells need proper amounts of acetylcholine to stimulate muscle cell health, growth, and strength. Plus, eggs have a lot of protein. You need choline to protect yourself from gallstones. And, the choline buffers you from neuro degenerative diseases like dementia.

Great overview Dr. Brewer. Well, I have upped my egg consumption from 2/day to 3/4/day. From a previous video you made, I have been working hard to cut out all sugar and most refined carbs. I noticed that when I had a refined carb snack after dinner, I got very sleepy, like I'd been drugged, but still craved more and more carbs. When I substituted one or two eggs [for the high carb snack], I no longer felt this way and felt satisfied and full! Actually, starting to feel better all around with a lower carb/no sugar diet; still my wife thinks I'm crazy. I have some questions about your results. First, is the protein in 10 eggs, above your recommended protein requirement, and could that be factor in your measured results? I'm more into weight/resistance training (at 68 years of age) than high intensity cardio. Walking and swimming, running up and down the stairs (twice a week) is as much as I care to do, so my protein requirement may be more or less than yours. Presently, I eat less than the equivalent protein of 10 eggs/day, which would be high for me. Thank you again for these great videos! You have inspired me to change my eating habits.

It is often mentioned that runny yolked eggs are much healthier. I have never microwaved eggs. It is so easy to drop eggs in a fry pan with butter. When the eggs are partially cooked, just add a little water and put a lid on for easy delicious basted eggs. Get an egg cooker and soft boil, again so easy.

When I was so weak, found out Cancer from DES, had to work till I found a Dr that finally figured out, I was a Mail Carrier primary income. All I had energy to do was boil eggs 🥚 in morning for my daily food energy. It helped so much. Along with B12. Remember I was told I was just getting old. I walked like a wet old lady. It was awful I was 56-58. Endured much from management. But thank God I got through my 30 years. 🙏🙏

My happy place is about 2 doz eggs/week. We get them from a small family farm down the street for $5/doz. They are white, brown, green and blue, and every hue in between, with a few feathers mixed in for good measure. They are delightful! I also get beef tallow from their grass fed cows for about $6 for a large jar. Everything I fry I use that, besides some olive oil when more appropriate.

You mentioned basal cell carcinoma removal. I removed two of these on my upper nose using a BEC 5 cream at home. The cream dissolves (actually a massive internal cell immune response that kills the cell) the cancer cells selectively and the body fills in with healthy new cells rapidly. It was interesting watching the process as the BEC 5 cream was very precise in only removing cells to a certain level (about 1 mm), it did not even attack the hair follicles. The cancer cells dissolved into a gray paste which I blotted away every day and then applied new cream. I did this until the area was completely filled in with new pink skin cells. There was no scaring. That was about ten years ago with no recurrence. The best preventative treatment for skin health is an average fasting glucose level of 85-95 for me and to not spend too much time in the sun plus use a SPF 50 barrier lotion on face, neck, hands, and arms. I do most of my exercise outside at night or indoors.

Your videos are very informative and genuine, plus love the egg jokes!!Some thoughts here: confounding factors that may had affected LDL and ApoB results- who eats these many eggs per day naturally, you were adding butter and bacon to eggs, microwave cooking may cause inflammatory response, the type of proteins chosen when low carbing can be leaner like tofu, edamame, fish, chicken breast instead of red meat, bacon, and cheese. These are just some thoughts that if to eliminate those confounding variables, what would the results look like otherwise..❤

We must state that many eggs cause great problems in counting.

Will the bacon and/or be another factor that could taint the true value of the test? I agree with mixing about 1/2 slice of bacon with a heated or boiled egg with a little butter and pepper. Also, are the eggs soft boiled or soft center or fully cooked?

Thank you, Dr. Brewer, for the great podcast! I eat a lot of eggs too, low carb and moderate exercise. My markers remain low, especially LDL and with increased HDL.

Even if eating eggs only is damaging, I will still eat them only vs big pharma or big food.

You say you put butter and bacon? Wouldn't that mess up the test. You talking about eggs alone.

Will you please tell us what blood tests we viewers can perform at home? I test for glucose and it’s never above 100 except right after eating but I’m more interested in bloodwork values. Thanks
