I definitely want my surgeon to be as comfortable and happy as possible during my surgery.

As a patient, this makes me more confident. I want my surgeons' attention on me and not if they might collapse from exhaustion.

I work in dental and we use roller versions of these. Can't recommend them enough.

" Back from vacation?"
"Yup. Back in the saddle again."

If a doctor has to do 12-16 hours of constant work on me to make sure I live they deserve to be as comfortable as they need to be that entire time

The best thing I have seen for those really long procedures is a literal harness. Lets you move about easily, can take literally all the weight off your legs, isn't gonna hurt your butt as quickly and its fun.

I'm a certified EMT, Security Officer and a firefighter, when we are assigned as stand-by medic at events like concerts, sports league, marathons, movie shoots, et cetera -- we are not allowed to sit or leave our post unless for a pee break, that is at least a "minimum' of 12 hrs. which really means 16 hrs So our team would usually anticipate that we would be standing for 16 to 32 hrs. We'll be on our feet from ingress to egress, rain or shine.
And i give my respect and show my appreciation to my fellowmen who serves people, who heals people, our first responders and people who volunteers for our safety❤

this should be a common seat to all workers that need to stay up all day, sometimes some people can't and who can, shouldn't be standing up all day during work! that should be nice to both able and disabled people out there

Maaaan good for them. Having worked as a cashier and being forced to stand for my 12+ hour shifts without leaning or sitting, that shit rventually hurts. Body gets stiff. It becomes a losing workout. Then you gotta go in the next day still stiff and sore and do it sll over sgain.

That thing looks like it has some fun home "uses"

This is reassuring. I wouldn't want my surgeon to be in discomfort while operating on me

Great idea especially for the older surgeon that might have bad knees or feet but are very skilled

12 to 16 hours a lot of people don't realize what they do. My little godson just had brain surgery and they were working on him for 9 plus hours and it's just the first round. It was a group of surgeons and God bless them!

Hospital admissions should provide all possible support to all those who work in the OR
This aspect of care is so overwhelmingly overlooked by hospitals. The surgical outcomes depend on important factors like this one.

I want every surgeon in every hospital I visit to have access to one of these
