This is the third video in a series where I rank Jane Austen's main novels. In this case, I am ranking according to the love interests. What would your ranking be? Leave it in the comments below. If there are enough rankings, at the end of the month, I will compile the results and make a video.

My ranking of Jane Austen's novels:

Henry Tilney is my number one. He's the funniest of Austen's leading men, fun, but also grounded in reality.

Loving this series. Watching Ariel Bissett's video today and she is ranking classic first lines which mafe me think you should add ranking Austen's first lines to your series. Lol. I cannot weigh in on your videos well as other than Persuassion which I am currently rereading I read them all years ago. Will be rereading them all eventually.

I see your point when it is about Captain Wentworth. Persuasion is my favorite Jane Austen novel and he and Anne are my favorite couple. But what you mentioned about him making his fortune himself is, from my point of view, a double-edged sword. I prefer not to imagine the way, in which it happened, what he exactly did in the colonies. Since I was a teenager, I used to love Jane Eyre, but after reading Wide Sargasso Sea, the novel is somehow spoiled for me. Nevertheless, I still love Persuasion but to some extent with a drop of bitterness.
