Everyone loves to take a day off and spend it in bed every once in a while. There is nothing better than a day of doing nothing, just lying in bed and maybe watching some TV during the day. A great Sunday for many people during football season would be to never leave the bed and watch the games all day. How about doing it for more than two months straight though?

That’s exactly what happened a few years ago. NASA actually paid people up to $18,000 to stay in bed for seventy days in a row. It was very good pay for minimal work. They were doing research that will help them in the future of space travel.

Actually, I have the same question. If they were required to stay in bed, toward the end of the testing, how were they going to the bathroom? It doesn't say anything about their eating or showering/tooth brushing at all.

Can't stay in ANY bed more than 3 hours. Had surgery a few years ago and was confined to laying on my back for 12 hours. That was torture.... No pillow either !!!

I see a lot of comments about "how did they go to the bathroom" and I'm surprised that many people could deduce that answer on their own. Its got to be no different than being in the hospital with injuries that confine you to bed. I assume bed pans and some form of tubing, or a combination of both. Also, there were a lot of pictures of the subjects being moved to different testing areas where, I assume, they were given the opportunity to relieve themselves. C'mon people lol.

Where can I get this? I take care of this old man who smokes the green stuff and he's always in bed I was sick for a month with bronchitis and it was awful so I couldn't be there to take care of him and his sister lives 5 mins away and didn't help him once while I was sick, and his sheets were caked with skin because he has plaque psoriasis, it was bad. And the worse part is I can't get the poor guy to get out of bed and I haven't even been paid in 2 months. I care about him tho and I feel bad so I keep helping. But this would be perfect for him, sorry for the long comment. 😅

if you watched close enough you would have seen two types of bed pans on the tables on the side of their beds as well as I saw two times big try's full of food as well You all need too pay attention to the details in the video!!. But I am bummed that I was never told about that test I wanted to sign up!!

what if someone did not finish or cant lay down to bed due to severe pain? does he still be paid in portioned amount?

after compete 70 days you will cant able to take walk you will feel like you are paralyzed its not easy as you think almost more 3 month you will be need for your complete recovery ..and funny thing is your medical bill will be same :D
