there is a saying prevention is better than cure. So, if I can do something in advance before the stress/ problem I will do it. As a call center agent, I do it by reviewing information that the customer might ask before the start of my shift and if I encounter something new during my shift I review it after my shift as well. And if there is a stressful situation during my shift like a system error that might cause a large flow of calls I'll make sure that I will apologized and that I can explain it well to the customer and I should anticipate their frustrations so I will not get overwhelmed by it. So, I will keep my calm and inform them that I can give them a call back when the system is already functioning well.

It must have something to do with my age, , but being in a workforce for such a long time in various industries, too, I have learned to leave stress after i clock out. There will always be difficult situation to deal with everyday but I learned not to take them personally. Im not patronizing but i know whatever the cx is going through that time has nothing to do w/me,

. And the best thing to do is to do my job & help them the best way that i can. There are still moments of course, that can trigger me but i just laugh it off.
