Heavenly Father, You are our Shepherd who supplies all of our needs according to Your abundant provision. Every need we have is satisfied in You Lord. We give You all of our hopes, dreams, pains and desires for only You can bring us through. You will perfect all that concerns us. This world has nothing of any lasting value. Our value is found in You. Our worth is found in You. Our identity is found in You. True love and life is found in You. You came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. Help us to remember that our pain has a purpose. On this day Lord we are thankful that You are God and God alone. We give You thanks for the good You will bring out of each and everyone of our circumstances. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. May the Lord bless you all on this Thanksgiving holiday with His love, peace and joy! In Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, forgive me for my failure today. I did not make a request of me a priority, and it hurts me to know that I failed. Tomorrow I will do my best to correct the situation, and I give thanks to you for loving me anyway. Help me Lord, to listen more carefully, and judge less.
