Wow! There could not be a starker difference from the original to this...this absolutely mesmerizing version. This needs to be done in studio and produced for sale without the interruptions from the coaches' buzzers and such. Truly beautiful interpretation.

This has slowly become one of my favorite voice performances of all time. The pure beauty of her voice solo at the beginning. The haunting, captivating performance of hearing only her voice and the piano throughout her performance. The lack of sound from the audience and judges. She doesn’t divert her gaze to the judges once during her song. She’s focused on her song. She’s there to sing and play, and she leaves her soul on the stage for all to remember her.

Louise Charbonnel completely bats it out of the park here. Her ability to use dissonace from the piano and augment with her voice is very unique and impressive! I have not heard another performer like her with this ability. She is incredibly skillful at this and deserves a special place.

You can see that she is so engrossed and immersed in the song, that she is not aware of anyone else around her. Until the end of the song and looks round at the judges, she is in her own world. A truly mesmerising performance.
