Was Martin Heidegger a great philosopher?

You are wrong, Heidegger was a great philosopher. You cannot discard his work simply because he was once a Nazi. We are judging his competence and not his morality. I wonder what you think about Nietzsche since he was undoubtedly the most amoral philosopher ever, surely you don't question his competence. You should learn to separate the wheat from the chaff.

What does any of that has to do with anyone being a great, good or bad philosopher?

You can be absolutely evil and still make some of the greatest, most consistent, and most coherent arguments.

Who is this guy? And more importantly, is this channel even remotely close to about any discussion in regards to philosophy?
