500g (3 ¾ cups plus 2 tbsp) all-purpose flour
375g (1 ½ cups water plus 2 tbsp) warm water, divided
1g (¼ tsp) active dry yeast
10g (1 ½ tsp) fine salt

This pizza was heavenly! I added some garlic butter and oregano in the dough. At first, I was a little skeptical about adding yeast water later instead of mixing it in the water that will make the dough. But to my surprise, it was soft af, so bouncy, easy to roll. And after baked, it was so freaking good! So airy! So freaking nice!! I shared this recipe with every person I know who bakes. You're so underrated!!

Finally! I have been looking for a technique and recipe like this for 20 years and now I have finally found it. Every other recipe I have ever tried that promises these results was a flop. This turned out fantastic. A note to those with Kitchen Aide mixers: I used mine instead of mixing by hand for every step except the last fold ( 0:42 ) which I did by hand. I was just careful not to let the mixer knead the dough too much. As soon as the water and dough were mixed into a shaggy dough, I stopped. Otherwise, I followed the steps exactly as instructed. Thank you to "With Spice" for taking the time to post this.

I’ve been making this recipe for a couple of years now and it is my go-to for perfect pizza every time. I love the whole process and especially the final results! The pizza is always so bubbly and both flavour and texture really stand out. I will never use another pizza dough recipe ❤❤❤

By far the best pizza dough recipe... EVER... perfection... and I dont just say those things... I am obsessed with food... good food... and I have been looking for this type of dough recipe and tried recipes that promised to deliver and failed... miserably... I was concerned when I saw the amount of yeast needed I thought it was a typo... and after the first hour there was no huge rise and was a little discouraged... but I folded and waited the full 6 hours... amazing... thank u so much!!! I dont HIGHLY RECOMMEND this recipe... I WHOLE-HEARTEDLY INSIST u make it... THE ONLY RECIPE I WILL EVER USE FOR PIZZA...

I have made this dough 2 times and the flavor is amazing! I love all things fermented and it is much easier, and with so much less yeast than my standard dough calls for. I've been grilling pizza for years. On a gas grill that did not get that hot. I'd bake one side, take if off, flip and top it, Makes for great summer cooking when its too hot inside. My neighbor gave me there grill that I hope gets HOT and I''ll be baking it on my cast iron griddle in a bit. First time watching the video..now I understand that pinching instructions. 😏

This recipe really works and it turns out exactly like the video.I have tried many different recipes before, but only yours worked for me. althrough I used the pan method (i cooked the lower part in a pan and added the toping, then cooked the top part in the oven). anyway i'm so happy that finally learn to cook true airy crust pizza :) and big thanks to you for sharing this recipe.

I have made this recipe about 3 times so far and it’s amazing better than any chain pizza place and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to frozen pizzas ! I just doubled the recipe so I can freeze half the dough for mix time !

This is insanely good. I kept trying different dough recipes and they all sucked and reminded me of Little Ceasars dense bubble-less dough and I was looking for one that was big and airy and bubbly yet moist and chewy. Came across this recipe and FINALLY.. exactly what I was looking for. I decided today I want pizza this week, but its hard to do this on a work day, so im trying a 2-3 day cold fermentation in the fridge to replace the 5-6 hour room temp fermentation in this recipe, so that I can just take it out of the fridge after work one day, make the balls and let them rise for an hour before dinner. Pretty excited to see how that works out! The only downside to this recipe: restaurant pizza will never be good enough now that I've had this. All other pizza will forever fall short.
