I removesd the rear seat on my 2019 new generation Toyota Hiace Crew. That meant disconnecting the wiring harness. I did that with the battery connected (doh!). Now I have a "airbag system malfunction". on the dash. I know I have to have the codes cleared now, but is there a way to "dongle" the connector so that I can leave the rear seats out permanently?

I never disconected the battery i just wggled it around then figured out there was a little releas clip. Shit rolling inder my seat and hitting the wires csuseong my airbag lightbto come on.

careful with those air bags bc i remember that in the past some times it was recomended to disconnect the battery a day before the planned operation, and later was an hour; but now on you are talking 90 minutes 👍
