Hey man just wanted to say thanks a ton! I’m 23 years old and just replaced my Corsair 750w with a Corsair 1000W and your guide help me build the confidence to do it! Now I can throw in a more powerful card only thing I couldn’t figure out was that I have 2x8 pin instead of 3x8 that I was hoping to do but I think I needed an adapter or something. Anyways thanks !

I had an issue with a screw holding a PCI card below my graphics card also holding the graphics card, making me think my graphics card was stuck to the Motherboard after I unscrewed the two screws for the rear output plate of my graphics card.
Remember to look closely at your screws and what they are actually holding.
You might need to unscrew [PCI slots occupied by the graphics card] + 1 screws.

Make sure y'all remove the vertical bracket on the back as well.

I dont know what to do. All i did was unplug the PC, open the side door to inspect the inside, tug on the cable for the graphics card a little, checking if it was secured, then plug everything back up. When i turned on my PC, the monitor refused to display. I been messing with this for hours and still no luck

i took out the screws and disengaged the PCIE and it’s still in there well enough that i can pick up my entire pc by holding just my card

i have to remove my giant rx 6700 xt to get to a clip on my cooler, but the damn thing won't come out. Screws are out, tab is pressed and released, but gfx card seems stuck on the back plate rather than anything, you know, the little tabs on the other end from where the screws are supposed to go. Fingers hurting bad from trying. Am stumped.
