Taken from 'Bill Bailey's Jungle Hero' (2013)
Comedian Bill Bailey embarks on an exotic and thrilling journey to retrace the steps of one of the greatest unsung heroes of natural science and exploration - Alfred Wallace. This is the story of a brilliantly eccentric British explorer who survived man-eating tigers, head-hunting tribesmen, pirate attacks and sinking ships. Alfred changed the way we see life on Earth, but he has since been written out of history. Bill has become obsessed with Wallace and shares his passion for wildlife and Indonesia.

Welcome to BBC EARTH! The world is an amazing place full of stories, beauty and natural wonder. Here you'll find 50 years worth of entertaining and thought-provoking natural history content. Dramatic, rare, and exclusive, nature doesn't get more exciting than this.

Okay, so second to David Attenborough himself, Bill Bailey is such a brilliant choice to host a wildlife documentary! Love him! 😊

The way it went up to him, tapped him, and basically went "You're alright in my book" 😂

I want to adopt that fellow holding a camera called "Bill". He seems to be very rare to find "in the wild" recently as he shows evidence of kindness. Now there is something to protect at all costs.

Wallace was amazing - he doesn’t get enough recognition for his work! Hope this documentary becomes available to watch in Australia❣️

I do love when other animals treat humans like we're the zoo attraction. Turnabout is fair play 😂

He is not just an animal lover, but amazing musician and comedian. An amazing person. I absolutely adore him. ❤ I always admired people who are working with animals. Then I realise it’s not the animals but the humans need to be afraid of more.

Bill says they are peculiar looking, then to the camera "what?" Hilarious!

The macaque touched him and probably thought, 'dude, I feel so bad you lost so much hair and turned that sickly colour.'
