It's so amazing to see how the reactions of these monkeys to magic tricks is so similar to how we would react to magical tricks that seem impossible. This goes to show just how intelligent these animals really are.

First clip isnt reacting to magic, baboons use fast hand movements as a mean to engage a fight. So everytime they make a real quick hand movement close to them, they react by showing fangs and throwing both hands at the targets direction

To be fair the first clip was not a "surprise" face. It was probably an open mouth threat with the eyebrow raising, both were absolutely not the friendly or relaxing signs. Plus the monkey looked away a couple of times, which was aiming to show submission. She was fearful and stressed. 2:03 And yawning with full display of teeth does not mean the monkey gets bored, it is a reaction to a potential threat.
