"How has this turned into a battle?"
"This is not a battle, we're working on it together!"
"I don't feel like we are."

So... Chef battle idea: Give them both the same "recipe" from that book and have them both cook their own interpretation of it.

Ben tossing out as much French in this video as he can possibly muster:
Pretentious or not?
You decide.

"What's your problem!?"
"Ben's speaking French."
That whole sequence killed me for some reason

This was great because it was nice to see them being properly cheffy and demonstrating techniques they've learned etc.

I mean I would love just a series of Ben and James going through this book and cooking stuff. The whole video being packed with technique and language and everything is just a pleasure to watch. Makes for a nice "complicated" break from the more easy week night recipes and different challenges.

I can imagine James being head chef in a restaurant and being politely rude to his staff. ‘They’ve been in there f*ck*ng ages’ in a really calm voice

James is like a sweet schoolboy he just loves when his food turns out well. I’m the same way! I just get really excited when I like what I’ve done. Especially if you’re your own worse critic
