I'm writing because I want you to get stronger.
What you're doing is a reverse curl relying on bar speed off the floor versus a triple extension. Turn you elbows so they point along the bar thereby locking them out of the lift. Drag the bar slowly until it is mid thigh. Then you drive your toes into the floor, thrust your hips forward and shrug your shoulders hard. Essentially jump. The catch comes from squatting under the bar. Hope this helps. Keep going.

Once you shrug . Catch by getting under the bar. With chest up, high elbows .
