UPDATE: to clarify you CAN trade the following: crafting materials, ashes of war (not the summon ashes, those cannot be traded), runes (such as the golden runes and any of the items that you can use to get instant runes, this does include the great runes you get from bosses), all armor, talismans, rune arcs, all ammo, weapons (as long as the other player has at least one item at that weapon level, for example they need at least a +5 weapon in their inventory to pick up a +5 weapon from another player).

Items that CANNOT be traded: Anything listed in the “Key items” tab of your inventory, smithing stones, summon ashes, spells/incantations, flasks, memory of grace, spectral steed whistle, golden seeds.

when i dropped my freind my Elenoras pole blade too level it up for me bc i didnt wanna search up tutorials for the stones, he picked it up fine from me however when he tried too drop it for me it doesnt spawn in i think that it mihht be bc ive done the quest and he hasnt OR bc i dont have another special weapon at plus 7 however i do have 2 normal weapons at plus 8
please help
