How much would it cost to buy EVERY item from EVERY merchant / NPC and upgrade all weapons as preparation for the Elden Ring DLC?

Clearly you would want 2 of every weapon just in case you want to dual wield everything too.

EDIT: I screwed up. at 1:50 the first two numbers are wrong, for somber its 16.263.000, for smithing 35.455.200.
I dont even know where the numbers in the video came from but the over all price (44.6 million and 1.74 billion) was right so yeah.. just was looking at too many numbers for my tiny brain

it's not just farming runes that would take time to get a 100% save, you would have to do a LOT of playthroughs to get enough ancient dragon smithing stones to max every weapon. what would the average time be to run from the beginning of the game and complete another NG as fast as possible while also doing the quests to get the smithing stones?

I was going to mention the 10 runes(?) you need to give to Thops before he will open his shop to you, but I looked it up and you can just kill him and get his bell bearing so I guess it doesn't matter....

1:46 "These are NOT the prices of upgrading the respective weapons" but rather the prices of buying the upgrade materials, from the twin maiden husks, to upgrade a weapon from +0 to +24/+9 (12 of each tier of smiting stone, and 1 of each tier of somber smithing stone).
This excludes the blacksmith's upgrade cost itself, which wary from weapon to weapon. From the quick testing I did a while back out of curiosity, I estimated that upgrading any weapon from +0 to +24 would cost you around 20000 runes, and upgrading any weapon from +0 to +9 would cost you around 6000 (this obviously excludes the titanite slabs).
The discrepancy between the upgrade costs of "normal" vs. "special" weapons is what prompted me to calculate it in the first place.

(cosplaying as the Pursuer from Best Souls 2, and therefore needing many upgraded weapons and the cost also helped :/)

(don't know about the spirit ashes)

I thought this video was gonna be about "how much would it cost to buy everything from those sketchy rune-farming websites".

Everytime I want more runes Im gonna speedrun the game to get a NG+ boost.

Trolls went from dropping 1300 with Golden Scarab to 6000 runes with Golden Scarab on my Journey 2.

The bad thing is beating the game again makes me not want to play anymore it’s not fun once you beat everything it was fun the first time when the game was still being explored.

All that’s left for me is pvp, reaching max level, and trying a new build.

2:40 As an Oldschool Runesscape player, that 2.27 days is really not that bad at all.

It took me ~80 hours of training Agilty to go from level 95 to level 99 as the last skill I needed to max. No regrets.

That doesn't sound too bad till you realize how many golden fireflies and fowl feet you gotta grind

The $60 price tag for Elden Ring is a steal honestly. You actually get a full game with 100s of hours of replay value.

Note that teleporting back to the grace after clearing is faster than running back to reset.

I actually did this in my save it took me about 3 and a half months and I called it psychopath percent though I didn't know it cost that much

It takes roughly 600, 000 runes to upgrade a single weapon to +24, the Somber ones are way cheaper at around less than 100, 000

It takes me 2 minutes to get 500, 000 runes on NG+4 so 10 minutes for 5 million and X 6 = 30 million in one hour

So 2 hours and I get all materials for every item Upgrade

Might need to do it a few more times so I can upgrade the actual item but that would be it

The spirit ashes Will be simple enough

Edit: correction, it takes 220, 000, 000 to get all upgrade materials for all 239 base weapons not including the somber ones.

Doesn't really change anything for me, I'll still farm for it, just takes a little longer

Ps, by the time used this, I have f8nally gotten all 377 items in game to +25 and +10. It takes roughly 34, 000, 000 to upgrade the item level and 200, 000, 000 to get the upgrade materials

100%

I thought the video was gonna be about glitch where you could but all the items for that much or something. Or maybe if you spent that much at a specific merchant his inventory would glitch and do something special.

Bruh. I've had everything in the game maxxed out for months now. All Ashes are fully upgraded and every weapon in the game is at least +9/24. I'm still farming Ancient Dragon Stones to get as much stuff to +10/25 as possible before the DLC though. My main is on NG+19, I think, but I capped him at lvl 350. This fuckin DLC needs to come
