How to use an External Keyboard all for MIDI Macros in OBS Studio | Hammerspoon & OBS-MIDI

Controlling applications like OBS Studio and similar is much more powerful when done with good keyboard shortcuts… but what if you run out of those? How about a full keyboard of shortcuts which can be used separate from your main keyboard? That's what I will be showing you in this video.

This setup guide is for macOS only and it is using open source / free software only. So you don't need anything except for a second keyboard (maybe you already have one lying around).

Hi, I'm trying to follow your video but I have come across a major problem: my Mac is recognizing both keyboards as the same one. The same identifier appears for both of them on the Hammerspoon console. Can you please help me?
