This sata cable is Good for about a year and a half of constant use, but it will break, my sata cabke didn't break completely but the access light connection stopped working, it can power the hdd, but without connection to transfer files, I tried the cable with multiple drives and it was the same. My recommendation is to buy 2 or 3 of these sata cables, so when it breaks from constant use, you have a quick replacement for any emergency.
