That's indeed quite an ambitious TBR for May ! I would never be able to read so many books in 1 month. I'm normally a pure mood reader but you could say I have a TBR for this year - I don't know if you can call it that way, maybe just a goal is better - namely to get as far as possible in the Realm of the Elderlings books, I'm almost finished with Royal Assassin and I'm loving it !

Because you spoke so enthusiastic about Watership Down a couple of videos ago, I bought the book. I love books where animals are the main characters so hopefully I will be soon in the right mood to read it . Anyway, good luck but most of all, lots of fun with your reading in May 🙃

I’m starting Ninth Rain, & the 3rd LPQ for sure. All else is up in the air! I have Ace of Spades, Animals at Lockwood Manor, the Summer Tree, Popisho, Exhailation, Roll of thunder hear my cry, Engines of empire, Shorefall, & Atlas Six from the library, & I should be getting bookshelves and unpacking books this week, so maybe there is something I have that I’ve forgotten about that I’ll want to read!

Kaikeyi is one I really want to pick up. Haven't seen any reviews on it, but have seen it on a lot of TBRs and it looks right up my alley. Hope you have a great reading month.

I’m doing mood reading w no read alongs. I’m reading the Outlander Series, Mistborn, Winterset Trilogy, Farseer Trilogy, and the Kent family chronicles. Last year was my year of classics, this year seems to be heavily concentrated on fantasy. Lots to read for sure

I feel like your excitement for this mood reading month just radiates through the screen, haha love that for you 🥰
I am so happy to see that you plan on finally continuing/finishing all those incredible series!! Also, I felt the same as you about Greenbone, until I read book 3 and suddenly I was incredibly invested and I loved it from beginning to end. I honestly don't know what kind of sorcery Fonda Lee used to create that book, but it worked out very well, lol.
And I was supposed to read Son of the Shadows this month, but I kept pushing it back and now here we are, whoops 🥲 Still eager to continue and finish out that trilogy though, and I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it!!

I don't do TBRs, but I do know that I will at least get to Wall of Storms, The Ember Blade and Priest of Lies in May so I am super excited for that! I'm also really eager to check out Kaikeyi, but we'll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy. Like you, I feel 5-star favourite potential for that book 🤩🤞

Great choices for your May tbr. I am also reading Robin Hobb, the Tawny Man trilogy. Her books just get better and better. But Liveship traders will remain a favorite. And the Ice Planet barcarian is so bad that it's good. Just make sure you don't use your brain too much when reading it and you should enjoy it😊

Hero of Ages has a really great ending I think! I really liked the way he ended it.

Mad Ship was my favorite of the trilogy so I can't wait to hear your thoughts! I agree with you on Sanderson and his writing style. It's not the type of writing I usually enjoy, but I did enjoy the ending of Mistborn era 1 A LOT.

I'll be reading Kaikeyi in May as well. it's a 5 star prediction so I'm very excited.

Love a mood reading month! I am mostly mood reading in May from a large selection on my shelves for Asian Readathon. I’m really looking forward to it! Otherwise I am going to try to finish The Well of Ascension with Petrik’s discord and will listen to The Child of Prophecy on audio. Also might listen to Leviathan’s Fall to finish out that series!
